Trek Machu Picchu, Peru

Following the great success of our China Trek in May 2008, St John Ambulance has been inspired once again to travel to far away lands and embark on a unique trekking experience.

This time, we shall be exploring previously unknown valleys and forgotten trails of the magnificent Andean mountain range. We will see amazing ruins, trek through the Elfin forest, home to orchids and humming birds, and experience local villages that are off the beaten track. We will culminate our adventure with sunrise at the sacred city of Machu Picchu.

This 10 day challenge will provide you with a once in a life-time opportunity to visit The Lost City of Machu Picchu, one of the great wonders of the world whilst raising vital funds to help continue our life saving work.
