The Great British Duck Race - 31 August 2008

On Sunday 31 August 2008, The Great
British Duck Race will take place down a 1km stretch of the River
Thames near Hampton Court Palace.
The target is to race 165,000 rubber
ducks, breaking a new World Record and raising more than £500,000
for UK Charities!
St John Ambulance can share in the funds
raised with a little help from our supporters.
Supporters are not restricted to one duck, but
can buy as many as they like. Please forward this to
friends, family, colleagues and
acquaintances…..the more ducks we sell, the more
money we make.
This is how it works - it costs just £2 to
adopt a duck plus a recommended donation of £3 per duck which comes
directly to St John Ambulance. Every duck entered has the chance to
win a fantastic prize and the winning duck wins a massive
£10,000.
St John Ambulance has registered it’s very
own page which is now live on The Great British Duck Race and
can be easily accessed.
