British 10K

British 10K – 12th July 2009
Congratulations to all those who took
part in this years British 10K London Run to help raise much needed
funds for St Jon Ambulance.
Our team of 10 dedicated runners are expected to raise a
fantastic total of £1500 after completing the run despite a cold
shower of rain at the start!
This running event now in its ninth year and is one of the UK's
most exciting races as it takes place through the heart of the
city. Starting at the Hard Rock Café at Hyde Park Corner the route
take you past some of London's most famous landmarks including
Trafalgar Square, the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye.
In previous years, this race has seen some of the worlds finest
athletes participate as well as many celebrities including Nell
McAndrew and Matt Allwright. This event attracts people of all
abilities from fun runners to serious runners and is perfect for
anyone who is interested in running but is not yet ready to train
for a marathon.
We are hoping that that next years team will be just as

for a registration fee of £20 and a pledge to raise a minimum of
£130.
