Be part of a team to relay run the length of Great
Britain!

Run by an external challenge company, is a new fundraising relay
run covering the 1000-mile length of Great
Britain. Runners start from John O'Groats in the Highlands
of Scotland and teams compete in stages all the way to Land's End
at the tip of Cornwall.
With 100 participants running over 14 days, teams average 70
miles a day with each member running 10 miles, passing a baton
between them as they go.
- The race starts on 1 September 2007, for fourteen days and ends
on 15 September 2007
- Runners take part in teams of seven
- Teams are able to select which 70 mile stage they wish to
participate
- You will receiving support from the community fundraising
team
- EVERY runner will receive a Souvenir Certificate
If your county enters a team for the event, the money they raise
will remain within the county, with a suggestion of allowing the
runners to decide where they feel the money is needed.
To take part in the le j'og 2007, we ask that each
runner pay £35.70 (£250 per team) and pledge to raise a target of
£200 (£1400 per team). They will then receive a training pack and
guide to the event.
The deadline for registering for the event is Monday
14th May 2007.
