Transporting patients
St John Ambulance West Midlands have been providing a transport
service since 2000.
Our qualified personnel, using modern vehicles, provide services
seven days a week.
We have contracts with many NHS trusts throughout the region and
also with a number of private sector institutions. Our crews
operate both within the West Midlands region and across the UK and
Europe.
Walking patients, those in wheelchairs, or specialist transfers
by stretchers or incubators can all be accommodated for.
We handle all types of patient transfer including:
- Bespoke patient transfer contracts to public and private
sector
- Admissions and discharges from hospitals, clinics, nursing
homes and private residences
- Outpatient attendances
- Repatriation of patients arriving by air, sea or rail to their
homes or to hospital
