Volunteers
We need high-calibre volunteers to be ready to save lives at
events
throughout the Hastings area.
From school fetes to Hastings Borough Bonfire, Hastings
Beer and Music Festival to Hastings Old Town Carnival, our
highly trained volunteers are always in demand.
Now is the ideal time to join as our training programme for
the next six months is being arranged specifically to suit recent
new members!
Training
Whether you already have a first aid qualification or are new to
it all, we provide all the training necessary, from learning how to
clean a minor wound to using an AED or crewing an ambulance.
Most training is provided on our
Monday evening meetings.
Our ambulance teams have won through to the regional finals of the
George Moore ambulance trophy for the last six years and were the
national champions in 2004.
