First aiders

All our first aiders are trained and annually re-assessed to national standards with many holding Health and Safety Executive First aid at work qualifications. A large number of our first aiders hold advanced qualifications allowing the use of defibrillators and medical gases.

Ambulances

St John Ambulance has the largest fleet of ambulances in the UK. Our vehicles meet european standards and all our ambulance personnel are trained to national standards.

Health care professionals

In St John Ambulance we have a number of registerd nurses, doctors and paramedics who volunteer their time. These professionals utilise their clinical skills to extend the medical service we provide at events.

Mobile command and control

We can provide our own team of control operators and command centre to allow us to effectively manage vehicles, personnel and equipment safely at large or crowded events.

Mobile treatment centres

We have a range of mobile vehicles and temporary structures (e.g. pop-up shelters) that can be provided as static first aid points for your event.

Cycle response teams

For events that cover large or crowded areas, such as; running events and bike rides and parades, we can provide cycle response teams. Our cycle responders carry essential equipment needed to provide immediate care until additional support arrives.
