Volunteering in Oxfordshire
St John Ambulance operate local groups
across the county. These groups run training for the local
volunteers who in turn provide the primary cover for
public events.
Some groups cater for younger members with Badgers and Cadets,
while others also operate first aid training courses for the public
and local businesses.
We welcome volunteers at all levels, in addition to first aiders
we need people to help maintain vehicles, help run the Badgers and
Cadets, administrative duties or simply to provide practical
support at public events.
I enjoy the variety of activities in St John Ambulance. I have the chance to develop and use a range of skills, work with people of all ages, and attend events throughout Oxfordshire.
