CPR Demonstration

Volunteers and staff from St John Ambulance Lancashire turned
out in force on the 14th August at the Asda Superstore
in Fulwood near Preston. A number of trainers were on hand to
give demonstrations of CPR and to let willing members of the public
step up and have a go. As you can see from the photograph,
it’s never too early to start learning! The day also gave the
public a chance to learn more about what St John Ambulance can
offer in their community and the opportunity to sign up for one of
two community First Aid courses to be held at County Headquarters
in September.
Of course the collection buckets were also out in force and we
raised the grand total of £606.22 for the day which will be split
between the Fellowship, CHQ and Units who took part.
The day was a great event and hopefully there will be more days
like this soon.
