2007 County Cadet Of The Year

Lancashire recently held their Cadet of the Year Competition at County HQ in Preston to find a cadet to represent the county for the next 12 months.

Results announced 

Johnathan Davies, 15 a cadet from Fleetwood Unit, was appointed as County Cadet of the Year for Lancashire for 2007.

Johnathan has been in St John Ambulance for eight years, four years as a Badger, and four years as a Cadet. He has achieved his Super Badger Award and the silver level of the Cadet trainer scheme.

Deputy County Cadet of the Year was awarded to Rachel Graham, 15, from Preston Unit. Rachel has been a Cadet for three years.

County Staff Officer Cadets, Gemma Elcoat, said 'I wish Johnathan and Rachel luck in their year of office as County Cadet of the Year and Deputy. They will be great ambassadors for the youth in Lancashire.'
