About us
Lancashire St John Ambulance Headquarters is
located in Preston. Our headquarters provides
office space to run all our operational and commercial ventures
including space for training courses.
In 2006 we:
- Trained over
27,000 hours worth of first aid; for work, at school, or
simply because it is great to have the knowledge to know what to do
in an emergency.
- Treated over
3000 members of the public.
- Provided 3840
hours of social care in the community.
- Provided many hours of
support for the local NHS ambulance service.
Lancashire is made up
from 20 adult units and 30 youth units (for ages five-18year
olds)
We have highly trained,
experienced emergency first aid personnel, and
Health Care Professional volunteers ready to lend
assistance at any event.
Together with a fleet of custom
built emergency ambulances, support vehicles and our own
radio communications network, we can ensure your event has all the
necessary first aid cover you need to make it a success.
