Dedicated volunteers will be providing first aid support all over the country during the Christmas and New Year period.

Hardworking first aiders will be supporting the NHS ambulance service in areas including Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, Shropshire, Cheshire and Humberside to help ease the pressure for NHS staff during the holidays.

Popular events such as football and rugby matches will still be covered with volunteers also giving up their New Year to provide assistance at celebrations.
